i ran a search but none of the threads had a conclusive conclusion. Anybody with experience passing smog with BC III's? Also, how easy is it to pass smog with ITR cams. I read that you can easily fail with ITRs.

Your reading false information. Stage 1 skunks are smog legal in california, so how are ITR/CTR cams going to make you "easily fail"... BS. I've passed emissions with both.

Exactly, ITR/CTR cams are STOCK cams so common sense would tell you they won't cause you to fail smog on their own. Typically if you run a cam with stock like primary lobes, it won't affect your smog outcome. If you do fail, it means you have other problems.

 

True i passed state ref smog test w/ ITR pistons and bc3 cams in my gsr But i failed MIL or CEL test cause i gots a P0301 cylinder 1 misfire code
