JDM H22 transmission noise...ideas?

JDM H22 transmission noise...ideas?
I got a JDM H22 transmission for cheap from a friend... All gears work and go in fine...only issue that I think is coming from the trans is a lil bit of a whistle at low speeds and gets a lil bit louder as the RPM gets higher...
any thoughts?
Used Honda MTL, just got the car on the road and noticed the whistle...

I have a m2z4 and it does the same thing. I originally thought it might have something to do with the fluid I put in so I had it flushed and the fluid changed. No difference.
