hi guys just ran into some trouble with my accord , my cars not starting and well im just wondering if the radio would still turn on even if the battery was dead?? cause the radio still comes on... and i dont wanna buy a new battery if its something else... the car attempts to crank but just stops after like 1 crank

 

sounds like your battery. take it out and have it load tested if you want. If it cranks, really slow and you lights dim alot i'd say its done. if you live in a cold place too, alot harder on the battery.

 

Yes the radio will still work. Unless your battery is totally dead. In that case you would get nothing at all, not even a crank or a click. If you want to check your battery take it out and have a shop do a load test on it. I know up here in the north country Canadian Tire will do a load test for free. I'm sure Auto Zone or Pep guyz down there must do it as well.
