Default is this a real turbonetics turbo?

i bought this turbonetics turbo i was told it was a t3 i dont know alot about it i havent seen it on turbonetics web site here are some pics hopefullf someone knows what it is there is one number where the on the black housing where the turbo connects to the manifold that reads 0358 there is also a number on the silver part where the turbonetics badge is that reads 60 and on the side of the silver part it reads c 26 02

I would bet its a real Turbonetics unit. To find out more about it, take all the numbers you can find on the turbo and search them in Google. You'll find something eventually. If you dont have much luck that way, take the housings off and measure the inducer/exducer with a micrometer and report your results

yes that is a real turbonetics turbo. turbonetics turbos have that T stamped on the compressor and exhaust housing. what kind of turbo we dont know. the only real way to find out is to take the housind off and measure the wheel

Holy crap Adam, that'd be a BIG micrometer. Do you mean a set of verniers?

The (2)0358 is a stage 2 standard .63 a/r. T3/T4 50 trim if that helps.

oh yeah its real it'll put down up to 500 hp no problem just put it on and boost 20psi!!

More like 250-300hp

Hehe. The old stage IIs. I remember those. Those use to come on the F-MAX kits before turbonetics bought them out. They were rather peppy for straight LS motors that wanted a push. They were great on 11psi-13psi on an LS. Good to only about 350whp, Pushed..
