Default What's my B18C5 block worth?

I have a USDM 98 ITR motor (original motor out of 98 ITR # 1007), and I cracked a sleeve on cyl #1 a few months ago.

I'm not sure if the other three pistons/rods are good, but they should be. The block includes a 10k mile old ITR water pump/oil pump, complete bottom end (crank/mains/etc) and has 120k. Still assembled and everything, but obviously needs to be sleeved.

What do they go for usually? Could I get $400-500 out of it?

Just curious, don't flame me too hard.

You said motor but your price sounds more like shortblock.

Que?

I stated that I own a 98 ITR motor, but I put the word block in the thread title, what the block includes and was wondering what they go for.

I'd say 300 max for the complete shortblock.

i wouldnt think it would be worth more than 200,

reasoning is the rods and pistons wouldnt be much of any good, they would buy the block to sleave it and use the itr crank

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'm going to go ahead and send the block off to GE or Benson for sleeving in the spring.

Sorry if I made this seem like a FS thread, because I didn't. I just wanted to see what my ITR block was worth in its current state.

Worth more than $300 IMO...

You have rods and crank in there, not to mention block...

I could see it go for around $600 especially with WP and other parts mentioned with lower mileage.
