i have a 99 civic ex.. but it has a y7 motor in it with the y8 wiring harness... but lately my car will not rev above 3,500 rpms. it acts like it is hitting rev limiter... i put new spark plugs, wires, and ignition coil... they got a jumper harness for the p06 ecu which is from a 92-95 i believe, and could anybody help me with the colors of the wires for the map sensor? thanks please anybody help

map sensor is not your problem ..........y7 vtec???? y8 vtec????????if one is and the other is not then you may be experiecing no vtec engagement .......which computer are you using ???????

 

it has an p06 ecu which is a non vtec... but its also for a 92-95 i belieive... there is a jumper harness tho.. its got me stumped ... i duno what it oculd be

 

and its a d16y7 non vtec motor but has the y8 vtec engine harness on it

 

does anybody know what it could be? and now 2day i went to go look at all the codes it was throwing and it doesnt want to cut on now.. it turns over and if i let it sit for a second cuz it wont start u can hear air or sumthin coming from the motor i duno what it is
