ok...my friends car won't start. it's a 97 ek hatch.i checked the clutch relay, checked the ignition switch...still nothing. i ran power straight from the battery to the black/white wire on the starter and nothing. i unplugged the blk/wht from the starter and still no cranking. anyone have any ideas on this? i've never seen this problem before.

 

anyone ever run into this prob before?

 

start with the simple stuff have you checked your fuses and it wont crank at all or it wond turn over

 

it won't crank at all...and yea i did check all the fuses. i'm a wizard with my DMM

 

if you have jumped 12v power and good ground to your starter then you might need a starter

 

check your ground straps to you trans from body , batt voltage and CCA, as well asyour ground from batt to body
