No there is no b20vtec head out there. they put b18c or b16b/a VTEC heads on b20's, but not like yours. b20b's and z's. your b20 in your lude is like an inbred of the H series and the B series. it should not be named B series because non of its parts are interchangeable with the rest of the B series. also, so some research first if you dont wanna get flamed.

Correct, the B20A5 is a non-vtec and is the only motor in the Honda line that does not interchange with any of the newer B series motors.
The B20A5 and B21A1 are both interchangable to a degree.
The B20A5 is in the 88-90 Prelude Si
The B21A1 is in the 90-91
No, I did not make a typo, it depends on what model you own. Some 90 models came with the B20A5, but is OBD1 ready.
The B20A5 in the 88-89 years were OBD0 but are easily made OBD1 with a conversion harness and some simple rewiring of the O2 sensors.
There was some people who did the B16 Head on the B20A5 block frankenstien, but it had too many issues to be a daily driver car and the cost alone was worth the H22 swap, which is not available with my new H22 swap mounts.
If you are trying to be different by frankestiening your motor in your 90 lude, the only thing worth doing is the H22 swap or Boosting the B20A5.
There were also about two persons who acutually did a B18 swap into the 88-91 chassis, and it was a fun car to drive, but the had access to fabricators and all the tools necessary to do the swap. It was not easy and there was not aftermarket support for that swap till this day. Everything is completely custom.
If you have any more questions, then pm me and I will put you on the right direction for anything aftermarket for your 3rd gen lude.
