Default Video CD Receiver, the kind were the TV comes out of the deck.

I want a H/U that has the screen and the ability to play CD's, with a radio, all as one. I saw one on Crutchfield for like 1500, but they are expensive, so any suggestions? My experience with these units is farily limited. What I am asking is: where is a good place to purchase, any reliability issues, and which ones do you personally like.

Thanks...

Yes, but as you can expect they are substantially more expensive.

Take a look at the Clarion VRX925VD (only motorized screen/DVD/CD player to also play MP3's!!)

Also, the Pioneer AVHP7480DVD system. Keep in mind that this setup requires you to mount a seperate "brain" unit (the AVMP8000R).

Thanks a lot man. I figure the price is worth it, considering you keep a H/U for at least a couple of year. I have had my current one for almost 3 1/2 years!

Thanks again.

BTW: No HT discounts?

I just need a screen that comes out of the dash and folds up.... I will use PS2 to play dvd's and I have a head unit already to play cd's. What do you guys have that's good? I know "good" is kinda broad but my head unit it Pioneer already. Thanks!
