hey, I'm trying to replace the A/C vents right over the center console, but I kinda broke it getting it out, which isn't a big deal because it was messed up before anyways, but I'll be going to a salvage yard saturday to get a replacement and I need to know how to get these things out without cracking them.

Any input would be appreciated.

 

Those things are notorious for breaking. I've changed them a few times, my only advice is to go verry slowly, be patient and take your time. If you even think you're hurting it, you probably are.
