We have develop a brand new spacer for the 2007 Honda S2000. The part is already installed on the car and we are waiting for dyno time at Church Automotive. We currently have it install on our 2002 Nissan Sentra SER 2.5L and it show an increase in 9 HP gain! Dyno sheet to prove it and Shawn @ Church Auto can also tell you it works! Looks nice, but how would this fare with a boosted application?

We have a 1997 Turbo Honda Prelude that we also got a spacer made for. We will be doing that test also along with the S2000. Hopefully we can get it done next week. Both cars are running the spacer as we speak.

so if a simple spacer makes so much power, why would it not be there from the factor?

that gain was with a Sentra. S2000 are already squeezed for power to begin with. I doubt any gains will be made...maybe 1hp, .5 tq.

Why do you already have it installed?
I hope you are planning to do a baserun first then show what your spacer can do, and not just base your gains on what people have reported getting before.

We install it to test fitment and make sure everything is okay. I will take it off before we head to the dyno and after we do a base run we will then reinstall the spacer to see if it makes a different on the S2K. On all the car we dyno with the spacer we do a base run first.

Sounds good, can't wait. The spacer looks like it has the same idea of 'The Tornado' with airflow, in terms of making the air spin, but looks more functional since there is no twirling fan.
You should make either a cold air or short ram with the same idea, making a larger area for the air to rotate and see if it makes more power.

Our spacer will work with any aftermaket cold air or short ram intake as well as the OEM stock intake system.

The spacer is a US patented helical bore design often used on aircraft. Its purpose was intended to increase air pressure, resulting in more power and torque. The charge of air is taper through like the nozzle of a water hose(creating pressure). Then forces the air to turn and spooled without having to lose momentum, as it makes its way through the intake manifold. Spacing between the intake manifold and throttle body also increasing plenum length. Throttle response is a lot more crisp. Email me for more info. @ Sales@ForumRacing.com
