oil sandwich adaptor..what are you using?
used a greddy, did not like that it was tapped for bspt and not npt. plenty of ports though and did not leak, although some have said they do for them. unfiltered oil to the ports.
changed to the ge unit now and I love it. threaded for standard american pipe and -an fittings. mine does not leak so far but some have had to use a little hondabond on the gasket to get them to seal up. filtered oil to the ports. as for the quality of constuction, it is superior to the greddy.

some of you might think this was a dumb idea but i just bought a ebay sandwich plate for like 40 bucks and tried it out. And it's working great. I will say i had to use thread tape on the npt fittings to get them not to leak but after i got that all taken care of it has been working really well. Filtered oil to the ports too! Not bad for ebay crap.

ive heard it both ways. npt or bspt...
and i dont care about it using filtered oil because all of the oil is constantly being filtered
besides im just using it for oil pressure gauge. my turbo feed is ran off the block which is also "unfiltered"
im looking for something a little bit cheaper though.. as long as it doesnt leak it will work.. anyone use the cheap ones?

sorry had to edit that real quick ... it is bspt, i purchased my oil lines through tuner toys and the adapter that came with their kit worked on the sandwich perfect, no leaks first time and still going strong.
the other part that i think they cld have done a lil better is that greddy used a dble o ring as the seal the block.. pretty rediculous that they wldnt use a regular gasket like whats on a oil filter ?! but hey, its greddy they want u coming back to pay more money !!!
side note - im sure if mine ever leaks i can rig something up with some hondabond or something ill keep my fingers crossed

I can't remember for the life of me what "brand" mine is but I love it. I had leakage problems and called them up and they sent me a new one. All they did was provied a better gasket. I look in my email to see if I can find the order but this was like 4 years ago.
greddy ftw.......although my friend has a cheap ebay one made by glowshift???hahaha yeah but it works well actually and it only cost 15 bucks

Middle of the page. They also have them at summitracing, but were sold out when i was looking to get one. Shippine from these guys was a bit slow, but i still go it by the time i needed it.

I'm using the GE plate and the MOCAL plate. The GE plate is the first on on the block and is responsible for the head and the turbo oil lines. Then the MOCAL (built in thermostat) is on the GE plate is responsible for the oil cooler. It's a little hard to see, but you can see both plates below...
hey , im looking at going with a similar setup , just wondered if oil pressure drops when the thermostat opens ? and do you run with a bit more oil than normal ?. oh and what size lines are they to the cooler .

I have not witnessed any variations in the oil pressure. There will be slighty more oil in the system just because it will be sitting in the cooler and the lines. However after you fill it up the first time, then each oil change takes me 4 quarts like normal. The cooler lines are -10.
