depends on the size of your wallet, everything as a rule is 10x more expensive for a K series than a b series
what are you gunna do with the car?? DD or race?
gas mileage or performance?
are you looking for bragging rights or are you gunna be an interstate superhereo?

How much money do you have to spend?
I know it's not exactly built head B vs. K swap, but check out my topic here for some nice genral info about the K swap:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2153934
The K swap will easily topple $6,500-$7,000 nor a non-LSD K20A2 swap with all the needed mounts, wiring, K Pro ECU, and all the misc. **** like fuel system changeover, radiator, bracketry, hub adapters to fit stock K20A2 axles or build custom axles and use stock hubs, etc.
I too am debating going K, and so far I'm still not 100% on every single part needed, where it will come from, and how much it will cost EXACTLY but I've got a rough idea.
As far as built Head B18C1 vs. K20A in terms of power it won't be much of a contest unless you want to up the CR in the B18C1. The B18C1 has only 10:1CR and that means you can't get much of a crazy cam and make great power.
I'd expect maybe 170-180whp out of the propsed head built idea you have, with maybe 130ft-lbs. of torque. Actually that might even be a touch generous given the "low" compression you'd have.
I'm not touching the nitrous issue, honestly.
Compare that with the 210-230whp 160ft-lbs. or torque people have been getting out of the K swaps with good bolt-ons. IM, and tuning and power-wise it's a joke to compare them.
...but cost wise there is also no comparison. A complete N/A build with nice pistons, GOOD headwork, cams, etc. will still be cheaper than going K. Also if you stay B you won't have to make permanent mods to your chassis such as cutting a gaping hole in the shifter tunnel, knocking off the passenger side framerail mounts, etc. etc.
"Once you go K you never go back"
Yeah no ****. You CAN'T go back because you have to hack up the chassis!

Seriously though it's a tough call. I'd lean towards K if you seriously can come up with an easy $7,000.00 to play with.

the car wont be my dd but would like to be able to drive it of nice days not worried about MPG proformace somewhere in the 12's 12.9999 would be fine LOL! an I'm not going to lie I have done interstate runs in the past and I sure it will happen again
and I started thinking doing a K might be cheaper because I would build the head of the gsr every thing listed above and leave the k stock all execpt the spry am I wrong is doing a k swap still cost more money?

If you can't hit high 12's on a bone stock B18C1 with a 75 shot then something's wrong with your engine.

...and again plan to spend an easy $7,000+ on a K swap. I mean buying the actual engine/tranny combo is not too bad uyp front, like $3,500-$4,000, but then all of the other **** needed to actually get it in the car and RUNNING RIGHT will cost ANOTHER $3,000.00-$4,000.00.

I think I will stick to my plan of the GSR for now since I will be able to reach my goal. thaks to nix94delsol, 18C5-EH2 for the help
