Default VIDEO: 11.26@125mph SOHC d16

http://videos.streetfire.net/v...3.htm

last time at the track this year. here is video from this past sunday. it was my very first pass. it was kinda chilly out and track wasnt even warmed up yet. it wasnt as good as a 60 foot i usually get.. it was a 1.698 that pass. its usually low to mid 1.6. i had my launch set to high and it looks like i was getting too anxious at the line and did something there lol. hate waiting for them damn lights, need a pro tree

the rest of the passes were screwed up, i broke axles.. all my fault though, even though ive never broken an axle before in my life.

the plan next year is a 10 second street honda d16.. and i dont mean a sfwd drag racer. i mean street car. 99% of the time its on the street and the other 1% its on the track.

its been a year since i dynoed and alot of things have changed so i plan on getting back on it to check my tune a little more in depth but im going to wait until i swap out this stock intake manifold and throttlebody

Wrong wheel drive? What a dick.

Sometimes i wish they would keep their asinine comments to themselves.

I think i am going to try and bring a megaphone into the stands with me this year and when they make comments like that at one of our events i will yell back about this mullet and extremely gay voice.....

Way to own the right wheel drive ....

Man your license plate cracks me up everytime I think about it. haha.

Nice run... you'll be in the 10s next year. You're still on the OEM IM and TB, theres much more room for improvement.

well when i was getting the plates, my first pick was ONE CAM and i thought for sure i would get it and just wrote BYE LOL in there just because i needed a backup one in case 'one cam' wasnt available. well i was disappointed when i got my plates but i guess everyone likes it. people give me alot of crazy looks lol

you deserve thousands of for building this engine that has been doing great for just over a year now.

no its a 4.7 and i absolutely love it. z6/y8 gearing is way too long. especially when using taller slicks and drag radials.

We're going to have a hard time taking the plate off the car. It's been such a part of the whole build for all these years.

Some things are hard to let go of.

just leave the plate on there with a big X taped over the one . will be funny to the people who know what motor used to be in it....

Are you having any problems getting traction in 1st gear? Mine goes instantly to the rev limiter as soon as the clutch comes up. Still getting low 1.7 60fts though. I'm running the same slicks I think.

nope. i usually always have all the traction in the world. usually consistant low 1.6 60 foots. even at this shitty prepped track.

ill give my secrets out

24.5x8x13 MT's
8psi in slicks
2 step at 6700rpms
anti lag settings are at 15 fuel 10 timing
i build about 4psi at the line
preload with ebrake
and i do john force burnouts or otherwise my 60 foots go down

in this video i messed it up a little. was a high 1.6 60 foot..as you can see i did spin in first on this pass, but i usually never do. i had the two step set too high and i moved forward at the line a little instead of just dropping it instantly and thats why i spun some.
