Default WTB: Looking for GSR Tranny housing w/ VIN tag

Just like the topic states, looking for a LEGIT GSR tranny housing... Part where it holds the VIN tag...

The one that I bought 2 years back did not come with one... I bought it from a guy up in San Jose and he told me it was changed over due to the previous housing being cracked... being nieve that I was then, I believed him, but now that I read UNKNOWN MEMBERS thread about a friend getting is car crushed makes me uneasy.... I have paper work for the swap but I do not know if that is enough..

LMK guys, I do not want this happening to me..

Well, with some investigative work, the tranny is definitely a GSR but the casing has been changed over. It is the stamp of a S4 on it and it did have a VIN tag on it before...

Been calling the local police and DMV but no help. Emailed the CA BAR to see what they say...

Alright people, just finished talking to the CHP, local Inland Division and a few Sergeants.... They told me if they can not 100% identify the transmission from where it came from, your just **** out of luck.. SOOOOOO,

IF ANY HAS A TRANSMISSION CASING WITH THE VIN TAG, PLEASE LET ME KNOW, so that I could get it changed over and get my car legalized completely... I could get it BAR'd but there would be suspicion on the tranny.....GAYYY!!!!

for obd1 tranny and motor, there should be a serial sticker on there telling what car or whatever it is from... obd1 parts do not have the punched holes on them so it should be fine... Mine does...thats my issue

yeah, i have the sticker on the tranny, but it definitely wouldn't be hard for it to fall off. and there shouldn't be anything on the motor that identifies whose car it came from...

do your best to keep it staying on your tranny or get the form at the DMV and they will send you to the CHP or police department to give you another sticker or plaque...

Does anyone know what model tranny came with a S4 printed only on the tranny... I saw that it was the same as the del sol and the EM Si's... but they are S4C....

Also, would JDM trannies have the punch holes and are the holes threaded as well? I have gotten word that they do have the threaded holes but I have been getting mixed answers on it...
