Tips for track day at Willow Springs?
It's going to be my second track day, but at an entirely different track. Buttonwillow was fun and technical, but Willow Springs (Big Willow) looks to be much more speed-oriented. I've heard that most bikes top out on the main straight after the big sweeper
Any tips from WS-experienced riders? Sorry this topic isn't cooler, but there aren't that many interesting threads on here lately anyways
TIA

WOT from Turns 7 through 9!!!
Same rules apply - look through your turn, be smooth, and don't let the Omega or Turn 9 scare ya. There are some bumps, especially after Omega (IIRC), but as long as you're aware of what the bike will do (shimmy a little over bumps), you'll do fine.

Keep your vision up and your arms relaxed! Write it on the tank if you have to - srsly - If you do that, high speed and bumps will not bother you. That big sweeping thing looks like it destroys right side pucks - bring a spare set just in case.
What day are you going? If its this Sunday I'll see you there along with Life Sux Die and a gaggle of other R6's! Look for the gaggle and come say whatup! Oh, and here is a good bit of info I found on the youtube:

Any suggestions for suspension settings? There will be less transitions (duh, fewer turns) so should I stiffen up my settings? It's been a while since I had my bike setup, and it was for done fairly soft for everyday riding.
