Default is this normal?

hey guys, i was wonderin, just recently when i put the top down the first time it goes down but not completely all the way but after that it does go down completely, im not sure if its the wiring or the motor......but its an 07 iono if this also happens to the older ap2s? thanks

On my 02 the only time the top doesn't go all the way down (that I have been able to discern) is when there is some moisture left in the fabric. It only seems to go all the way down for me when the top is bone dry.

its just becasue the top was up for so long. no worries.


i went to adealer and an 07 did that too. its just a matter pof putting it down once or twice

Mine won't go up fully the first few tries because its always down under the hardtop.

You mean you have used your softop?
I would have figured you had already removed it since you seem to always have the hardtop on. The only thing that seems to change on your car are the wheels

the elastic straps may be stretched out and need to be replaced, modifry sells the convertable top fix http://www.modifry.com/products/ctf/index.htm
