Hey everyone, I have a 94 4 door EG with an LS motor and tranny swap w/ a P75 ECU w/ Hondata S200. Yesterday I replaced the steering rack and left inner CV boot. It started right up, and I drove it for about 10 minutes. I pulled up the driveway and put my e-brake on to let my friend drive it, and it died on me. It wouldn't start back up. Its getting fuel because I can hear the pump and smell it after I crank it for a while. It however, is not getting spark. I have tested the 2 plugs for the distributor, i'm getting power where it is needed, i've swapped the distributor with one from my buddy's GSR, along with the ECU and the main relay. The grounds by the thermostat and on the valve cover are intact, all of my fuses are fine. Everything in the car works, but it just won't start due to no spark. I also swapped one spark plug wire with my buddy's GSR and it seemed to try a little harder to start. Is it possible that all 4 wires went bad at once? Or even all 4 plugs? The plugs look fine...Any help is appreciated, I need to get this running asap since it is my daily...Thanks everyone...
even though you changed the distributor and everything, just try a new ignition coil inside the dizzy, mine did the same thing
everythting worked, i was drivin in the biggest rainstorm of the year and my car just died. i thought i hydro locked my motor, but it turned out to be that my coil took a crap on me.
try it out, if it dnt work then take it back

I swapped the ignition module and coil from a dizzy my buddy had off a GSR, it didn't do anything. I also tested my coil with a volt meter like it says in the manual, it read almost perfect...any other ideas?
Have you visually confirmed that you're not getting any spark? To be specific, have you tried to confirm it by pulling a wire then grounding it out to a shock tower bolt and having someone crank the engine to see if a spark jumps to the bolt?

Yes I have. I just talked to a guy that works at Honda, and he said that even if the battery is cranking the car over and over, it may not have enough power to make it spark, if it has a dead cell or something. I'm trying a new battery tonight out of my buddy's car, then i'll update the post. Thanks for the ideas, keep em coming!

I pulled the back seat out, I can hear the pump running. Maybe its running but not picking anything up? Is that possible?

The plugs are 2 weeks old, and look fine. The only code its throwing after I try to start it is a dead ECU code. It keeps throwing it no matter what ECU is in it.
I'm freakin lost...any more input is welcome, thanks for those of you that have already posted. Bump.

pull all the plugs, put a few drops of gas in each cylinder, put plugs in and see it it fires for a few seconds. just because the pump runs doesnt mean much. if it runs with gas down the clyinders then something is wrong somewhere in the FI system and your ignition system is OK.

So, i got ahold of the guy I got the car from and he ran me through a few steps to find the OTHER kill switch that was in my car. Started up and runs fine now. Thanks for everyone's input that actually contributed.
