95 ex coupe clutch issue
Hey there-
i've had my car for the past 4 years and have put 35,000 miles on my clutch (bought it with a new clutch). I'm fairly easy on my clutches as well as they typically last me 100K+/clutch.
I was driving today and my clutch normally requires half the pedal travel down or up to engage. However, suddenly driving today, my clutch only needs to be suppressed about a 1/2 inch to be engaged/let out completely to engage.
When engaged, the clutch still grabs perfectly, and i can get on the engine without the typical clutch slippage of a bad clutch. Does anyone know what this could be?? Given the age of my car, i'd really rather not replace the clutch if possible. Would this be the cable suddenly loosening?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
