Default CALLING OUT!!! 98B18C1 from San Jose

I was looking for some injectors for my turbo car. I came by 98B18C1 post on August of 2007 about Precision 580cc SATURATED Injectors for $200... that sounds what i was looking for. So i proceed and decided to meet him up at Denny's. I made sure i asked him in PM and in person if they were saturated. Injectors looks good and i bought it.
3 months later in a zip loc bag. It was about time to get my car running. Then, I realize that i was only runing 3 cylinders because of 1 fouled injector. so i talked to him.

(5:25 PM 11/9/2007) ELABR8: hey, i dont know if you remember me but i bought a set of injectors from you 580cc when we met up at denny's and i just recently put on my car. then i realize i was running 3 cylinders and the 4th one didnt fire because of the injector so i am wondering what can u do about this on this situation
(11:07 AM 11/11/2007) ELABR8: so sup?

(11:11 AM 11/11/2007) 98B18C1: so how long has this been? wen i sold it to you i took it straight off my running car before i met up with you and it was still dripping fuel...theres nothing i can do about it because its been so long

(11:12 AM 11/11/2007) ELABR8: it doesnt matter how long has it been you sold me a foul injector

(11:13 AM 11/11/2007) 98B18C1: i didnt sell you a foul injector 100% guaranteed...how would i know wat you have done to it since the time i have sold it to you

(11:16 AM 11/11/2007) ELABR8: well theres nothin that could happen the injector still pulses its just that it sounds like it is clogged and nothin i can do that would cause a clogged injector
(11:19 AM 11/11/2007) ELABR8: i am getting this injectors flow rated if these injectors are not repairable you will be hearing from me again

(11:24 AM 11/11/2007) 98B18C1: good luck to you...even if you came back to me theres really nothing i can do for you because i know for sure i did not sell you faulty injectors as i have people on here that can vouch my car was running perfectly fine when i took em off...

So i sent the injectors to get it flow-rated and cleaned to see if that would so anything. and my results are

SJersey: We got your injectors today. Thanks
We are having quite a bit of trouble with these. Upon arrival, they were 77% out of balance and are not taking to the cleaning very well. They will be retested and given a longer ultrasonic bath tomorrow along with some dynamic flow tests to try to figure out what is going on internally. These Rochester injectors are prone to failure and we see it all the time. The only thing that leads me to believe we can get them back is the coils are in good shape as they are ohming out just fine. This is usually the dead giveaway on these, but yours seem fine??? More tests and cleaning will be completed tomorrow. Hopefully with better results than today.
BTW, they are LOW. (low impedance = peak and hold)

GREAT!! these are not saturated like he said it was. I just realize that Precision doesn't sell 580cc saturated so i contacted 98B18C1 again

ELABR8 (6:22 PM 11/20/2007): so you told me the injectors you sold me are saturated and it turns out to be peak and hold so i am asking for my refund because u sold me something that is false and the results for the injector are 77% out of balance
ELABR8 (6:23 PM 11/20/2007): i asked you twice also pming you and in person if they were saturated

98B18C1 (6:36 PM 11/20/2007): they are saturated as i ran it in my car without a resistor box so i dunno wat the heck you are talking about...if it was peak and hold i wouldnt have worked and i wouldnt have been able to tune it

580cc are SATURATED!!!

ELABR8 (6:49 PM 11/20/2007): they dont sell injectors that are 580cc saturated
ELABR8 (6:49 PM 11/20/2007): you never sed these are lucas you sed these are precision
ELABR8 (6:57 PM 11/20/2007): the car runs but it runs like ****!!

CLIFF NOTES!!
-9818c1 sold me injectors saying it was 580cc saturated
-turns out 1 of the injector is fouled and 77% out of balance
-the injectors are peak and hold instead of saturated as stated

NOW IM JUST ASKING FOR MY REFUND $200 and keep the injectors!!!! so i can buy new ones.

well first, alot of people don't realize early honda's had built in resister box's, so he really might not of known what injectors he had, which is still deserving a refund. his injector drivers would probely be damaged first though. as far as the shot injector goes don't now what to say maybe the injectors were damaged in between removal of his car, storage time, and install in your car or something went into the fuel port damaging them internally, maybe he bought the wrong injectors (ohms) installed of his car and damaged them without knowing and sold them because he couldn't get the car running right. i'm sure the flow testing has already costed you money, so i would ask for refund for injectors and testing and return him the injectors. did you do any research on injectors before purchasing? u might of seen precision doesn't have those.

yea i was totally unware that precision didnt carry those until after and he told me he ran with those injectors without the resister box. would it damage the injector if you run peak and hold with out resister box?

Yeah they could cause damage. It will burn up the transistors that put out the pulses for the injectors to open, due to the fact that there are no resistors to limit the amount of current draw through them. It could either stay stuck open or closed. or even a burnt ecu .

The damage might have been done when you used them without the resistor box.

thanks for your post because 98B18C1 was using these injectors without a resistor box and that should be enough to cause damage to the injectors

98B18C1 REFUND MY MONEY!!!

if they were to damage the injectors then all of them would have been fucked up instead of just 1 like you said...i have a 98 gsr so there is no built in resistor box from the manufacturer...calvin saw my car running plenty of times...first you say that an injector is faulty...then you bring in the notion of it being peak and hold and say that you dont care if they work or not because you are trying to prove me wrong that they are not saturated...like i said tell me if a car is able to be dynoed and ran at the track with peak and hold injectors without a resistor box...like calvin said it can burn up my ecu and that didnt happen and i had those injectors on my car for a couple of months and as a daily driver...you are relying on what people say and not knowing wtf you yourself is talkin about...everything you have thrown at me i have proved you wrong so admit u fucked it up and get on wit ur life bro and dont try to make me look bad for your actions

aite if the results comes out that all of the injectors are fucked up are you going to give me a refund... the injector is faulty because you were using peak and hold injectors as saturated (without resistor box) which fucked it up... you did not prove me wrong about precision does not make 580cc saturated you dumb expletive and calvin also said you it may leave the injector open which it is happening now

i wouldnt give you anything. its been 3 months or so. you could have messed them up storing them or anything could have happened. accidently drop them or anything. maybe one of your friends messed with them and didnt tell you. there are way too many variables and its been waaaayy to long. and im going to go ahead and guess you probably threw those injectors in without getting your ecu chipped for them too....
