Default ssr sp1 on my dc5

looking into getting ssr sp1's for my dc5, just wanted to see if 17x8.5 would be too wide, if so i will downgrade, i will be getting a 205 or 215 series tire, after i figure this all out i will figure out my offset

If you slam it then the negative camber will make your tires 7.5-8inches wide instead of 8.5. Sounds dumb, but true statement

i understand what you are saying, i will be getting a camber kit but will leave a little bit of negative camber, so they would fit then?

correct, but you wouldnt need a camber kit, just get an alignment and have the toe reset, shouldnt eat tire that way.
