Default Prelude tranny in accord help with CLUTCH ---PLEASE----

Ok so I have a 95 accord ex with the f22b1 the little weak vtec engine. But any ways my clutch seems to be getting weaker and weaker so I know I know to replace it soon.

Well any ways I just got a jdm h22 lsd tranny from a buddy. So I was thinking of installing that on my f22 ( if you guys think there is any reason I should not let me know and why please)

Ok so im trying to figure out what clutch kit to go with I can't really afford act but I am thinking of ordering it through majestic honda. Or maybe a duralast clutch from autozone. So any ways what I have found out that the prelude has a smaller clutch which is only 8 5/8 inches compared to the accord which has a 8 7/8 in clutch. But every where I look the prelude's clutch costs more. So what i"m wondering is, should
I or do I need to go with the prelude clutch and obviously the flywheel or should I just stick to the accord's one since is does have a bigger disk?

So you want to put in an awesome transmission with a shitty *** clutch?

Spend the money and do stuff right.

I would think use the prelude clutch/flywheel

Ok, please ignore my last line then.

My point of saying it was that is a sought after transmission (I'm trying to source one out myself) and you want to put on a Duralast clutch, do it right, do it the first time.

well how about trust full genuine honda parts?
has anybody had problems with the majestic honda?
and I still dont understand why is the prelude clutch better if
it has a smaller diameter?

oh yeah and should I just get my flywheel resurfaced or just replaced. Its only
like 85 bucks for a new one from honda.

Damn

85, I'd buy a new one, if it's that cheap.

All OEM =

Preludes were meant for performance (why they have h22) so their parts are geared towards that. Accords are econoboxes.

OEM clutch/flywheel = you're fine

*edit* and Majestic Honda kicks ***

what would I be looking at in the rpm's for highway cruising speeds 60/80 mph
ive tried using the calculator but I dont have the axle shaft ratio or whatever else they
want, I do have all the gear ratio's. But im not no tranny guru. But I have wanted to go
lsd for a while and this would be perfect Or I think it is.

But this car does see quite a bit of highway driving, an occasional road trip. But also some beating around the city too.

The clutches are the same f22 and h22.

I have a used ACT clutch for sale that would be perfect for ya. Less than 1000 miles.

no there is no way its the same, different diameter's, different part numbers, and different prices. They might be switched out from one to another and be used but im
sure it has some difference.

Hmm well I got this for a steal, basically this guy bought a accord with a jdm h22 with a
little piece broken of the housing, and he didnt want to bull **** with it and just got himself a usdm h22 tranny and called it a day. So i benefited from a free h22 tranny
which needs a little work.

a couple questions thought
1) would i need different parts to install this tranny, ex: starter, slave cylinder stuff like that.
2)are the casing's interchange with the f22 tranny or maybe a usdm h22 tranny, (just in case I cant get it welded that way I want to)
3)I do like cruising, so can I use my gears like 5th and maybe 4th to to getter that better gas mileage. Are will they physically swap out, and are the gear ratio's close enough to where they will work together.
4)I know im supposed to use my stock cv halfshafts, but do they pop right in, no changing inner cups or any crap like that?
5) oh and while I got the tranny torn apart is there known problems with these tranny's, so is there parts I should change, and are the jdm and usdm parts interchangable.
