Default d2 racing coilovers question

I have some d2 on my 94 civic hatch and when I first adjusted the height I justed it from the shock body. Once I put them on the car it seem to ride fine and they were stiff but I didnt mind it. Then for awhile the rear started to bounce(kind of a stiff bounce) Is there a way to fix that?? The dampering sucks cause once you set it all the way to soft it rides like crap.

When theres a full car the back doesnt bounce one bit. Is it cause the spring rate is way too stiff for the back with barely any weight?

probably so. Rear spring rates have much more of an impact on the overall perception of ride quality than the front spring rates do.

Think of a light-duty trailer being pulled behind a pickup with nothing on it. It will bounce around all over the place over rough roads. But with a load on it, it will stay planted.

So what would be the best thing to do without adding a bunch of weight to the rear?? Should I loose the preload a little? Switch rear springs with the front?? Or just live with it??Any ideas??

What are your spring rates? If anything, I would just suggest getting softer rates from the rear. You can order Eibach ERS springs in 2.5 diameter with like 250lb rates for the rear. A set can be purchased for about 100 bucks or so. That should solve your problems.
