Just bought a 1990 Civic Si. Fuel pump wasn't turning on. checked the main relay and it turned out to be okay. I replaced the pump with a Wahlbro 255. The car started up and ran fine for about twenty minutes then died again.

It was sitting at a qurter tank after the pump install. And wouldn't start. I added more fuel to a half tank. that's when it started. Could that be the problem?

I'm puzzled with this car and I need it to get to work.

Just fill up the tank and go from there.

What could be the problem if it still refuses to start?

 

Check to see if new pump is running when you turn on the ignition. Should prime up.

Check all your fuses in car and under hood

 

Just wondering, did you re-install the stock "sock" with the walbro, bro?
