door squeeks very loud

door squeeks very loud
my 94 civic coupe's drivers and passengers side door squeeks very loud when i try to open or close them. the noise is coming from the metal "joint" thats connected from the door to the car.
what can i do to fix it? spray wd-40? or silicone lube? grease?

WD-40 is fine fine fine... I've done that plenty before, just keep the doors open, and hold your breath!
And don't get ANY ON THE GLASS so OPEN THE WINDOWS FIRST!
if you get it on the glass, its tough to see it to clean it, and then when you roll them down and up again, you get CRAZY STREAKS. I did it to get red spray-paint off my windshield after I painted the wiper arms
that ish just came off after like 3 months!
