angel eye/ led eyebrow help!
i just bought a set of halo headlights with the led eyebrow for my 98 hatch from K2 motor sports. they didnt come with a decent set of installation instructions so i pretty much had to assume what to do. there were white wires and black wires coming from the 2 halo's and the led eyebrow so i connected all the white and black wires together then spliced the white wires with the red of the turning signal harness and the blacks with the black. my angeleyes work fine i noticed that one of my highbeams are not working and the other one has the highbeam on constantly along with the lowbeam. on the inside dash the highbeam light is on very dimly . i cant seem to find a wiring diagram or nothing so im hoping someone here can help me perhaps i should have spliced into the green wire in the blinker harness.
Thats weird..
The green wire.. is the turnsignal... red is parking light.. so thats fine.

Now you connected the black wires from the headlight to the black wire on that goes to the turnsignal correct, and not the black wire on the H4 harness...

i searched my fuse box to see if any fuses were blown and i found that i believe it was the driver side fuse was bad so i replaced it and it popped again, so i dis connected the halo/ led brow lights im not blowing fuses but im still running with the highbeam partially on and my low beam extreemly dim. one thing i was told to try is connect the led eyebrow lights to the turn signal that way everything is not pulling from just the parking lights. if that does not work i guess im going to rip apart everything and look for a faulty ground. i purchased the headlights from k2motor.com and they arent very customer friendly.
thanks for any help and suggestions

it sounds like there is a ground leak...
The H4 bulb uses 3 wires, high, low, common..
if there are only two wires going to the main h4 harness.. that means they are sharing a ground.. with the other units.
but what is even weirder is that if you did disconnect all of the other wires.. and just hooked up your h4 harness.. it should work fine.
if it doesn't i think you should buy a multimeter and check for continuity... between the bulbs and the harness
if you look at the h4 harness... with the middle tab up.. its common, low, high
check the connections with a multimeter to see if there is any sort of unwanted continuity.

i replaced all of my headlight fuses, grounded the lights directly to the car rather than the harness, its come down to the highbeam dash light being very dim when the low beam is on and the high beam it comes on normally. the lowbeams themselves are still very dim and the highbeams work normally. the harness on the headlight matched up to my car harness fine. when i first installed the lights the passenger side lowbeam worked great! it was bright as hell but the highbeam on that side wasn't working. and the driver side had the shared high/low beam with the highbeam working. ugh i want to take a mag light to these things
