Ok i have that one figured out already...i know about series of motors and such...teh questions is...will it 'work' right??? For instance...you can put a 92-95 civic auto tranny in a 88-91 but there are two sylinoids for teh clutch packs so you have to rig it to ever go into overdrive. would i be in the same boat with a 97 tranny where i woudl have to rig the poopy out of it to work??? also it probably would just 'bolt' on to the engine, but would it bolt up to the frame rail and front and rear cross members the same??

i was looking how i could put more power trough my honda fit's auto transmission, i already did the aux oil cooler, i could do a valve body job and a clutch plate upgrade but it came to my attention that the honda fit and the acura rdx 07 to 08 has the same transmission number.
can someone confirm that the rdx tranny fits the fit?
i didnt want to create a new thread so i took the one closer to my subject
