Default How do you know if spring is compressed too litte/much?

I'm installing the spring on the shock, and dunno whether the nut is too low or too high on the shaft. Any tips?

you just wrench it down until it bottoms out and stop.

i dont care for torque settings on this kind of stuff. just dont gorilla it and youll be fine. you dont have to put any effort into it, once you start to have to put effort, stop.
