bumper paint removal
i've done it everyway possible. just got a jdm crx front, dont have time to prep it myself. how much would a SHOP charge for removing the paint and very minor bondo work+primer? thanks for replys!

yep. Most shops are very skeptical about accepting someone else's primer and body work anyway. Lets say someone brings something in thats already primered, your shop sprays paint over it just like they asked, but the paint doesnt adhere well to their primer and ends up flaking off a year down the road. Should the shop still warrenty the paint, even though they didn't do the prep work? Thats a big concern with a lot of shops, understandably. Typically bumpers paint jobs are around $300, with body work and prep on a used bumper, maybe $400 or $500

whoa?! thats with paint? i'm just being lazy about the prep. i'm going to paint it myself, just dont have time to prep the details in the front bumper. thanks guys.
