Location of Vapor Control Cannister?
Hello again. Im not sure if this is even the correct "area" to post this so if it's not, many pardons, and please direct me to the correct place.
I'm just trying to figure out where the "Vapor Control Cannister" is located on my daughter's 2000 CR-V EX. Looks like we may have to replace it but I have no idea where it's located. Is there a link somewhere to a schematic that I can look at? Thanks for any help in advance.

If you look under the hood, actually at the underside of the hood there should be an emissions label with a vacuum diagram. This might lead you to the location. I use them all the time. If it is like an accord it is under the car just behind the drivers seat.
Are you getting an EVAP code? Is it for a leak that is detected?
If so it could be she left the gas cap loose is all. Could also be a bad gas cap.
You can have the codes removed and see if the code resets before you spend your money.

Thanks for the response thesmogman. Yes on all accounts. She got a P1457 code that said it was an emissions leak and then the detailed code info said "Vapor Control Cannister". I had read around a bunch of sites where people said they had the same problem and landed up just having to buy a new gas cap. So, I removed and then retightened her gas cap just to see. No luck (engine light still on). So I just cleared the code and turned off the check engine light to see if it would come back on and if so how long it would take to come back on. So far (about 4 days) the light hasn't come back on. I'm not to worried about it, just thought it would be nice to know where this cannister was located in case I did have to replace it. Duh, didn't think there might be a diagram under the hood. I'll give a look and see if she has anything like that. Thanks again for your input. Much appreciated.
