Default 70mm tb, hmmmm???

hey guys i got a chance to get a skunk2 pro series 70mm throttle body with map and tps for $100. I wanna get it just for the price but i don't want to get too big of a tb for my setup. I know it would be borderline too big for a 180ish whp setup so i'm in toss ups about it right now. What do you guys think? 70mm a bit much for a ctr cammed full bolt on b18c1?

yeah i know better but its just tempting just because of the price. I'd get it for sure if i had some bigger cams/higher compression to accomodate such air flow. There ya go. Maybe thats a good reason to upgrade the cams/bottom end, getting such a good deal on this pointless tb. lol

70mm is a bit much for a 1.8L motor build...plus you still gotta port match the TB to the intake manifold too

70mm would be too big for your setup, you would be better off with a 66 or 68 at most. I would still probably buy the 70mm and just resell it because they are pretty expensive and you can probably make a decent profit

i hear ya guys. I never even really cared about upgrading the tb because its an almost near pointless mod to waste money on but considering the deal it gets ya excited to mod yet again. I probably will pick it up for the price and do some trading with it, etc. Thanks for calming me down.
