Default someone please help me!

ok heres my problem, i have JIC coilovers installed on my SH, love em BUT im wanting to install a stock type s sway bar. honda has conveniently left predrilled holes where it needs to be bolted up but mine are covered by the tops of my coilovers. from underneath the fenderwells i can see the top of my coilovers & they're covering up the holes halfway. i thought about jus moving it over but the fuse box gets in the way & i'd like to keep it clean. can i jus drill into the top of the coil or maybe threw it? they are about a little less than 1/2" thick. i got pics but comps too slow to upload.

So you want to drill through your coilovers just to install a sway bar. If I read that correct, that cant be good.

Here is a thought though. Rubber spacers.

You shoud take pictures of what you wanna do and how your current setup fits. I could probably give you a 100% for sure answer with a picture of your coil overs and how they sit in referance to where your sway bar will sit.

afaik the Type S strut bar actually had special top hats to mount it to from the factory, or a plate that fit between the top hat and body with studs going up through the body. ask Bdogg over on preludepower, he has the type s strut bar porperly mounted in his car.

That is just not worth the hassle dude. Go for another aftermarket strut bar if you really must have one.

Good call though hawk...lol I was really wondering why a sway bar would be mounting so damn high lol. I'm not up on all this 5g stuff these days...

tein FLEX has these studs attached to their top hats
itll fit into the holes on the 5th gen shock tower

its basically just a hole tapped with threads and a hex screw screwed in from the bottom
then you just bolt the strut bar onto those studs
