RPM TACHOMETER
I have a 1992 CIVIC DX HATCHBACK cluster has no RPM gauge..If I replace it with SI cluster that has the RMP gauge would it work when I plug it in or do I need to install additional wirings?? Please help as I have a 5spd manual and would like to know RPM's

No additional wiring required, just plug it in, it'll fit right in, your tach will show RPM, so on and so forth.
I don't see why knowing the RPM on a stock DX is important..but that's not my business.
In any event, in '92-'95 the EX's (coupe and sedan), Si's, and LX's all had tachs (99% sure about the LX's having tachs, not 100% - I know 6th gen LX's do), so you can pick from anything except DX/CX/VX.
Though yup, they plug right in and the tach works - they all got the wiring for it. Though like the whole reason they didn't include it...it's a stock DX, what's the need for it? But whatever, the wiring is there, any 5th gen cluster w/ a tach will work...

Well that answer's my question, I use to owe 1991 si civic hatchback, in my H.S years but now got this 92' and want to upgraded to SI model with the Extras that it comes with and eventually go with a faster engine.
