is anything different between the 2 except the rpm redline?

 

i doubt it they have diffrence in the name NS or Denso NipponSeico i think but 88-89 should have the same plugs and the 90-91 have 3 plugs not 2

 

yeah 88 and 89 should be the same...although does either a hf and a dx have a rev limiter?? i thought they just had the fuel tank...engine temp...and speedo on them...anyway....88-89 and 90-91 are the different ones...ex. trying to fit a 88 in a 91...just aint happening

 

i know that but when i put in a old crappy 88 hf cluster it work then i try one from a 89 and it doesnt and i know both clusters are good and they do have tach guages the only difference i know of is the 88s dont have the seatbelt light on the cluster and the 89 does i belive correct me if im wrong
