i am ordering the long awaited Koni Yellows, but i don't know the dimentions.

i have two choices for the EP3 -almost all sites ask if it's 50mm or 55mm

Measure them with calipers. If you don't have calipers, you could take a piece of string and wrap it around the strut and than measure how long the string is (not as accurate obviously).

What year is your car? Good rule of thumb is that 02 = 50mm and some of the 03's = 50mm.

04-05 was 55mm.

I believe all of this is in the FAQ somewhere

Did you divide by Pi (3.14)?

-edit-Maybe I should've explained more. Take the measurement of the string (the circumference) and divide that by Pi (3.14) to get the diameter. So it should be something like this....

I got this from a old thread on 7thgencivic.com (now known as civicforums)
"If the string measures 157mm, then divided by 3.14 you get 50mm
If the string measures 172mm, then divided by 3.14 you get 55mm"

OK, That makes WAY more sence!
im a noob
Thanks again!
Cheers!

EDIT+ Also- Todd,
i scoured the globe (of HT archives) and found this... you were seeing if an RSX Suspension would work on an '01-'05 civic

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by efficiencyJunkie &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Can anyone confirm thie ...
Quote- ToddOG "...you will need to determine if you have a 50mm or 55mm front strut to get the correct insert.
Not 100% positive, but 01-02 Civic = 50mm, 03-05 = 55mm."
</TD></TR></TABLE>
i guess nobody ever verified it- so i hit it with a bump... maybe it will get confirmed someday
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1715937
this is usually what happens when i search for hours...
Dead End! with NO confirmed answers
that's why i ask so many "Noob" questions
