Default 2004 accord lx power windows slowly drift/drop down in a couple of days.

My newly purchased 2004 Accord lx has a power window problem. I have noticed that all of the windows will drift or drop down if the car sits for a few days. I am not sure what would cause this problem. Ideas? They work fine when I use the switches.

Thank you
Jeff

My wife got a used 2004 Accord LX about 6 weeks ago and her car has started doing the same thing. All of the windows will open the same amount when they open but the amount they open varies.

I solved this. In the owners manual I found that the 04 lx remote can lower the windows by holding down the unlock button. You can also lower the windows by using the key in the drivers door.

My wife just reported the same problem on our 03. What exactly did you do to fix the problem? I'm not following the solution you came across.

Thanks

Don't press the unlock button on the remote more than two times and don't hold the button down. The key works the same way.
