header question!!

the header will bolt on.but the problem is the downpipe flange. i had a muffler shop done that for me.

will work but you will have clearance issues now cause the ls header is made for a taller 1.8l as opposed to the shorter 1.6... you will see what i mean when you put it on. but yea you can make it work... not worth it in my opinion though

Chain muffler stores like Midas tend to screw you. Take it to a regular garage/shop that will do exhaust welding, you usually have better results there...

That's the situation where you can indeed run in to a problem with clearing the oil pan, depending upon what specific header you're using. The flange at the cat is also angled differently.

i actually have a B16 5zigen header that bolted right to my b20z with no issues, but i could be under the wrong assumption that all B series headers will fit all B series blocks

This guy is right the B16 is a shorter block the a b18 im sure it will work it will just hang down more just watch for driveways. If your doing it the other way im not too sure if it will im sure it would it might just huge the oil pan
