also when looking at rims that are not factory size you need to make sure you have the same or close to the same diameter from the tire. use http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Some other sites are wheelmax.com, wheelfire.com, discouttiredirect.com, etc. Also ebay and most any other car parts site will carry wheels..

I do see about 50 people every day with black wheels & a polished lip and it seems to be very played out...just my opinion though. Also keep in mind that big heavy wheels will really slow your car down.

Plenty of wheels/tires to check out here man. Here is the link to the wheel/tire vender's forum on this site https://honda-tech.com/zeroforum/48

Lots of people have used these guys (there is a thread in the forum listed above) and they have been very pleased.

Check-out ebay. I have a '98 and found a set of Acura TSX 17s that fit and look great. The offset was different by only 7mm, so no big deal. Got all four for (winning bid) $155.

this kinda sums up my question a lil better
17 x 7.5 +45/+48 4h x 100
17 x 7.5 +35/+45/+48 5h x 100
17 x 7.5 +35/+45/+48 5h x 114.3
17 x 8.0 +45/+48 4h x 100
17 x 8.0 +35/+45/+48 5h x 100
17 x 8.0 +35/+45/+48 5h x 114.3
18 x 8.5 +48 5h x 100
18 x 8.5 +44/+45/+48 5h x 114.3
18 x 9.0 +35 5h x 114.3

how do i choose? what do all those stuff mean. i knoe 17 is the size and i think 8.0 is the tire width..whats the rest? like 114.3 and 5h and +#'s????

For example:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by akprelude99 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
18 x 9.0 +35 5h x 114.3
</TD></TR></TABLE>

18" diameter wheel, 9" inches wide, +35 offset, 5 holes and the bolt pattern is 114.3.

Google 'wheel offset':

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels...d=101

etc....

As far as the bolt pattern, I have never known what the measurement was It's a distance of something, but I don't know what.

[Edit: Hawkze Beat me to it... ]

This is what Offset is: http://www.discounttiredirect....s.jsp

You do not HAVE to get the same offset as the stock wheels, but there are limits to how far you can go.. I've seen 4thGen's down to +30 without rolling the fenders.
I'm not sure of the limits of a 5thGen..

Check Discount Tire Direct , they had a sale going on a couple weeks ago for $100 off a set of tires or wheels and they ship for free. There's been word that they will be doing this again the two days after Thanksgiving, so Friday and Saturday. If you order tires and wheels from them, they'll come mounted and I believe balanced already. So all you have to slap them on the car..

Also, stock wheels and aftermarket wheels are made to use a different style of lugs.

Here's the tires I ordered (After the first tire I ordered went out of stock):
