you say you'll get pulled over anyway... why add another reason to get pulled over/get a ticket for? my friend had a bc spec 2 on his gutted hatch... sh*t was REDICULOUS. could not for the life of me carry a damn conversation lol, and it draws even more unnecessary attention to the car. just my .02 though.

LOL @ people who think the BC Spec 2 is a 'sweet' exhaust.

Why would someone pay hundreds of dollars for what amounts to a straight pipe angled up and out (worst possible combination)? You won't be driving the car at all because a trip into vtec will absolutely make the car scream (not in a good way, either). And then, what's the point?

Oh, you could use the insert, then the car will choke and fall flat around 4000rpms and have trouble even reaching redline (not to mention screw with your tuning).

Anyone who runs that exhaust on the street is a ricer at heart, period. I can't think of one legit use for it.

Apexi World Sport II. It's a great looking exhaust and not loud at all.

Get the Fujitsubo or T1R. I have a BC Spec3 and it is too loud for my tastes on the street as it drone's inside the car. If you have the silencer in it loses power at high RPM.

Also, consider if you are going to use it on the track. The BC Spec3 is loud and somewhat buzzy with a helmet on. I had that and and AEM CAI on two expo's ago and it was like the drone of a million bees when wearing a helmet (from the resonance). Without the AEM it wasn't as bad, but still there. Oh, and let's not forget that the BC Spec3 fits like droopy *** pants. It took another $250 of cutting and welding at my friends machine shop to make it fit right. ($60 of that was to get it to fit the USDM cat.) oh, don't forget the slip fit design with the retainer springs. They rattle everytime you go between 3200 & 3400 RPM, and sometimes at idle. Other than that, it's great!

If I had to do it again, I'd probably get the Fuji, but I have only heard the T1R once.

All those "problems" you had with the BCIII exhaust are very easy and cheap to cure. For less then $40. Band clamps, different rubber hangers and two very high strength zipties.

But it's a very light weight, high flow exhaust, it's ment to have the least amount of stuff. If you wanted an exhaust to fit more like the common car ( no rattles, flanges, slightly quieter/less buzzy) then ProSpec should have been your choice.

I kow it's loud, but choked up with a cat and silencer for easy strett driving it's fine... Then when at track, open the Som'bitch up and roar

i'll agree with previous quotes and second the Fujitsubo

those that have a loud exhaust, N1's et al - many have asked me if we can swap exhausts, because they get SICK of the noise

BC Spec-2 is the loudest exhaust i've ever heard on anything besdies a full blown race car, it is animal
