GSR in 88-91 CRX?
Hey everyone.. im honestly pretty new at CRX/EF tech, so help clue me in. What does a 88-91 CRX run with a stock GSR motor in it out of the box? Also what is required to drop a GSR into a CRX? I have the motor in a EG now, but am tempted to switch to a sub or around 2000lb car.
Thanks

Couldn't tell ya what it would run, too many variables, suspension, driver skill, etc.etc.etc. But I'll tell ya this, I got a 9.0:1 compression LSVTEC in my 90 CR-X and I put 2.5 lengths on a 50 shot 97 Lude yesterday, and put one length on an auto LT1 from a 65 punch on the freeway yesterday too, I just got the motor in the car and broken in, and I'm starting to see how much of a difference weight makes.
WAIT A SECOND HERE!!!! Just making sure that you guys know that CRXs aren't always lighter than "EG" hatches....a lot of Egs are a bit lighter than comprable model CRXs.

it will take motor mounts, linkage, 90-93 integra axles and some wiring. i do not know what all else is needed, possibly OBD 0 distributor, sensors? my guess is that it should run about a 14 flat.

Yeah depending on how the motor is installed, you may need to cut some of the webbing out of the hood or even get a new one all together. Some mount kits actually sit the motor lower and a little farther back to fix the clearance issue. HASport for instance.
