for a 99 integra mainly used for street driving what would be a good option for spring rates. i was thinking of getting the Koni/GC setup. not sure about the spring rates on those
i was thinking of the omni street coilovers too...rode in my friends DC2 with it and it feels ok...i think the rates are 10 and 8..not sure what it translates too.
i have tein SS made for EG on my DC2 right now...its a bit on the soft side but i just wnat to change it out. i think the rates are 7 and 4 on those...let me know what u guys think
are there any other ooptions that are around $800...reason i'm considering these two only is because the omni i can get for $620 and the koni i can get for $769.....`

Run a search on this. This has been covered a fair bit. KONI/GC is great, PIC, and there are many others. look in the vendors section. Those spring rates are fine for a daily driven car. Theres no reason to go any stiffer, until you start seriously tracking the car and can live with the discomfort! Theres a new company selling custom built coilovers that looked really nice. There in the vendor section as well.

the only two setups i'd recommend are def the koni/gc and pic apex setups. both have very good reviews.
b18ls was talking about a custom coilover, AMR makes them. They basically sit you down and figure out what kind of setup suites you. They custom build there coilover to meet your needs. This really catches my eye and im really considering picking up a set.

at this time i dont want to spend more then 800....it looks like the PIC are more and i think the AMR will be more.
for the Koni/GC setup what rates are good. with my SS those were a bit soft on the rears...it would drop too low if i had passengers in the rear. u guys think 400 fronts 350 rears should be ok?

I daily drive with 400/400 rates in my 2000 GSR.
I think they're fairly stiff, but acceptable with the shocks turned down to a reasonable level. If anything, I'd want a stiffer front rate for the street, to help with potholes and the lack of front suspension travel our cars suffer from.

I have PIC Apex coilovers with the 10k/8k spring rates and I think its fine.... They only cost me $759 shipped... IMO out of all the cars ive driven with diffrent set ups, I liked the PIC's the most.

for now i went with omni's since it was cheap and someone had it locally. but i do know that AMR sounds good, and Koni/GC are the reliable one that everyone recommends. i'll probably end up switching out the omni's anyways
this is my 4th suspension setup in like 4 months. H&R sport/Tokico (not low enough), to Apexi N1(blown), tein SS (too soft), now omnis (10,8 should be good i hope). still trying to figure out what i like since i'm very picky when it comes to comfort but also stiff enough for a good handle.
o yea its great to work a shop with an alignment rack that way i can adjust it everytime i do a suspension swap
although my boss may get mad soon after doing an alignment every month haha
