I have a mini me swap and when i push the gas pedal all the way down the car suddenly rev limit and the check engine light goes on and it keeps limiting in 3,500 rpm but when I turn of the engine and put it in on to take the code of the check engine light the code is gone but when I floor it again it do the same thing but when I just push the gas pedal and let it rise rpm by itself it do not rev limit it just keep going like it suppose to. What could be? The distributor I am using si a non vtec, I have a d16z6 distributor but the head is a d16y8. Help please
