my 12 sec street car (love of my life!) is gone
well everyone, you may have read about my recent success in finally breaking the 12 sec. barrier in my mild setup street car. it was only 12.9 but had more in it still, poss. 12.7/6 which i was going to try for in the next week or 2 before my track closed. well i was out for a drive the other day just dropping off a video at blockbuster and filling up the tank, when on the way home disaster struck. im not fully aware of what caused the incident but, my back end got out on me because 1 of my memory pieces was the car spinning. i went off the road at 80 mph and struck a gaurdrail at 90deg., i mean the dead end of the gaurdrail!!! the guardrail then punched a hole in my drivers door and popped my pass. door off. i awoke from the crash with a guardrail in my lap and paramedics all around. i would like to mention that if it were not for the memoryfab carbon race bucket that i had installed approx. 1 month ago i might have died. the seat dropped my body position down approx. 5" and that would have been enough for the gaurdrail to sever my legs and femoral arteries completely, instead of the 3" cut (couple stitches) and minor bruise that i got (only on my right leg). so thank you memoryfab!!! just wanted to tell everyone goodbye, as i might be out of the honda scene for awhile (not too sure yet.)
all i can say, and im sure you will too after you see the pictures, is that i am very lucky!! and i thank god every day that i survived this accident with the minor damage that i did. i broke both the bones in my forearm, the 1 in my bicep, and fractured my shoulder blade. i had to get some plates and pins in my forearm and some rods in my bicep. very lucky!
ps: if this is in the wrong place mods can you please move, just put it here because i frequent this forum.

well everyone drive safe
and goodbye to the love of my life
i loved that car more than anything in the world (well except my wife i guess
)

except for a dent in my header from the radiator hitting it. im thinkin of tossing it in a teggie so i can run a stock engine class instead of swap class
