Limit Straps??
Whats up guys? I have adjustable coilovers and kyb agx shocks, and as you guys know with coilovers when you lift your car up, the spring is loose. Well i was wondering if there was a way to keep the shock from extending and keeping tight against the spring. I came across this spring limit strap. Its used for off roading vehicles, to prevent the shock from over extendiing. I did a search here on HT and I found a few topics about "Limit Straps" but they were only used by people who were drag racing trying to prevent rear squat. So I was wondering if someone has installed something like this and would it be worth it??

I know on complete coilover assy's like the PIC ones , you can keep full tension on the spring and adjust the height but turning the entire shock up or down. cuz i know someone who has a set of these installed on their hatch, and when he jacked the car up the wheel come down like an inch or so, there was basically no shock droop. So is looseing the extra shock droop gonna affect anything????

Yes, depending on what you're doing with the car.
On an autocross car, you absolutely do not want to limit droop any more than you have to.
Realistically, why do you care that the spring comes loose at full droop? Is it causing you any problems? Does it really matter? Other than when you jack the car up or put it on a lift, is the suspension ever at full droop?
