Okay, my '99 Accord is having a problem shutting off on the highway at random times. It is becoming more frequent. Also, sometimes you can start it and it will shut off right after, and it can do this several times. It is becoming dangerous.

I am not trying to put "words in ones mouth" but I have read about an ignition switch recall?

Is this the issue?

If so, what kind of price and replacement procedures am I looking at?

you need to make sure that the ignition switch recall has been done. failure of this switch will cause the problems you are having
