Today while the wife was driving the car all the dash board lights came on and stayed on until she shut off the car. They remained on when she restarted the car. She also noticed a new "hum" from the engine area and the noise gets louder when the head lights are turned on. It sound like an alternator problem to me. What do you think and can you tell me how hard it is to change if it is the alternator? The car has 110K miles, original alternator and battery.

 

alternator is toast, replace that delphi peice of crap with one from the 7th gen accord or leghten the wires by 4" and use a 130a alt from the oddssey
