Default Accuracy of factory tach

Any of you guys running a monster tach, how close is the factory tach. When Im under boost at 5500k or higher i notice my tach likes to jump a little. Like a belt may be slipping but I dont feel a power loss or the car doesnt buck. It stays smooth. I was thinking the factory cant keep up with the revs.

Any thought?
