Default No cluster lights or tail lights

A friend of mine owns a 1991 EF hatch all stock no swaps or nothing. Recently his Intrument cluster lights went out and so did his tail lights. And the tail light fuse keeps blowing, as soon as we put a new one in. any help plz?

what fuse amperage are you using? im pretty sure its a 10 but try a higher amp fuse, and if not working try a lower one.

thats all i could do good luck!

sounds to me like you have a short some where. I wouldn't use a higher amp fuse more of a risk of burning wires up. not a good idea at all. always use the specified amp fuse that circuit calls for. have you got an electric wiring dirgram or have access to one? with that it should help you get to the bottom of why that fuse keeps blowing.

thats a dumb suggestion.

this happened to me aswell.. when someone backed in to my car they broke the corner light and the bulb so i took the bulb out and left the light in and im pretty sure that cuased my short. but even after i replaced the light it would still do it but not as often. ended up running a wire from one of the head light fuses to the tail lights. but now everything works fine and i dont blow fuses. you coulda pinched a wire somewhere
