So yeah.. B18B is coming soon to my engine bay & i know my EX muffler will choke it.
I'd like to keep my exhaust looking stock and not loud. I'd rather take a muffler off an existing honda/acura than buy some rice-pipe that will give my car too much attention.
What would be good for some increased air flow, but not too loud?
i'm thinking of the following things:
1. GSR muffler and cat-back piping if it will bolt up.
2. 92+ Non-VTEC prelude muffler and increase the pipe size.
3. 98+ Honda accord muffler and increase the pipe size.
Any input?
Also, for intake i'll be using my stock intake box w/k&n filter and no baffle until i can afford a real CAI. Should work, yeah?

It seems like a good idea... and i'm sure someone's done it.. but i'd rather not waste my time/money on having some dude weld on random mufflers
..
Could always get something from an exhaust shop but those are usually designed for cars that have at least 3 liters of displacement, lol..

A gsr muffler isn't much less restrictive than an ex muffler. Don't let it worry you.
You're best bet is to get a good header. Even with the stock catback you'll see good gains.

There are very little gains to be made from any exhaust on that engine. Use whatever you have to let the exhaust gases reach the back of the car.
