Just bought a 1995 Honda sedan lx.

exterior is nice no rust on panels and what not but there is alot of rust on everything else.

He said it was just outside for the last 2 years. Started up and drove very little

anyway i just tanked up 87 ( is that the recommended octane?) and bought some new 5-30 oil( Pennzoil 5-30) for it as well as a new air filter. (Fram) + oil filter (fram though guard)

Will put all this in this week.

anything else i should do? Car runs good as is i think but i dont want to get on it with the old oil.

Any thing elsei should know about these cars?
any problems they usually have?

btw its a 5 speed

 

check the tranny fluid if it looks dark or smell sburnt change it out, it isnt hard to do.. make sure u use honda MTF

 

change trans fluid, power steering fluid, coolant, and brake fluid
